Commissioned to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Pythons. The label claims to be tempered over burning witches, those were some flavorful witches! Amber in color with a nutty nose. Surprisingly light in body with a well balanced hop finish.

The entire effort was for SIDS, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome raisinf 60,000 in the process. The boat was made from 8,000 GoldX cans, wood and silicone.


The sailors must have been inspired by the Darwin Beer Regatta.
An annual event where boats are made primarily from cans and raced. The website has some great building tips, as well as rules for the competition.

Maybe we need to have a beer can regatta in Austin at Town Lake? Probably give the Red Bull Flugtag a run for it's money.

Flooded Australian Town Saved (With Beer)

The Town of Hinton was surrounded with water for five days after flooding rains. Originally food and the basics were being ferried over, but an upcoming rugby match brought the need to load 12 kegs and 36 cartons of beer on the next ferry.

"They'll be able to watch the game and have a cold one tonight," said Philip Campbell, a SES spokesman.
